the preposition “與” means “with”

~猶且 …、況於~乎 “ ~ sura-nao-katu …, iwanya ~ ni-oite-oya”

An intensified kind of additional relationship can be expressed by the use of a rhetorical question introduced by 況んや. The rhetorical question introduced by 況んや is usually concluded with 哉 or 乎. Japanese often introduces “すら” (meaning “even”) in the sentence preceding 況んや.
